Mary McCormack was an American actor best known for her portrayals in the lead role of a TV shows such as "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Mary McCormack is famous for her performances in the films 'Private parts and 'Deep Impact'"True Crime," and 1408.. Born to a clinical counselor and ice cream parlor owner, McCormack hails from a family with no direct links to the industry of entertainment. McCormack attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following the divorce of her parents in the year 1990, she enrolled to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. She completed the Bachelor of Arts program that specialized in comparative art. The actress began her professional career at age 12 by performing in the stage production , 'Amahl and the Night Visitors, an opera for the Christmas season. Following her stage debut she was offered roles in theatre productions that were both large-screen and small-screen. McCormack has been hailed as one Hollywood's most versatile artists. McCormack is the wife of director and producer Michael Morris and has three children.
