Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini, a businessman. She is Italian (from a paternal grandson), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda was born in the San Francisco Bay region, California as the youngest of four siblings. When she was ten years old, Linda was captivated with acting after performing an instrumental role in her school's Christmas production. She also continued doing school plays as well as the community theatre. Linda was a student at Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. At the time of her graduation, she had choose among New York, where she was able to pursue theatre and acting, or Los Angeles, where film and television would be pursued. Linda decided to move to LA. Linda was cast in her debut role in the show Bone Chillers (1996). Her breakout role was when she got her first role on Freaks and Geeks (1999). This show earned her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting in a Comedy Series. She played Lindsay Weir, a decathlete who was enrolled at the California University.

Lily James was born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (5 April 1989). She has a profession as an English actor. She began her career as an British actress on Just William (2010), a British series on British television. Cinderella was her breakout part after her role playing Lady Rose MacClare, in Downton Abbey's period drama (2012-2015). James was later cast as the the Countess Natasha Rostova, in the TV version of War & Peace, in 2016, and was in several movies. These include the action-packed film Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) and musicals Mamma Mia! We're Back (2019) and Yesterday (2018). Her character was nominated to win a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award in 2022 to play Pamela Anderson, the star of Pam & Tommy.
