Apollonia made her debut album in 1988. However, her comparatively tame collection of dance and R&B songs did not make much impression on those who bought music, and the album soon vanished from sight. She continued acting (if somewhat obscure) during the subsequent decade. The small roles on TV small films and workout videos kept her busy. Apollonia published a Spanish/English CD called Stay with Me in 1997. The singer returned to the university where she received her diploma in making films.
